We accept returns within 2 weeks from the date of shipment.  We require notification prior to your returning the item.  Shipping  costs will not be refunded. You will be responsible for return shipment cost.  Items need to be returned in the same condition.  If they are not in perfect condition, the amount of refund will be affected.

Twisted Smith Hardware designs its knobs and pulls as fine art for your cabinetry, doors and furniture.  The original designs for our hardware are hand forged using traditional blacksmith techniques.  A mold is made from the original design and then cast in pewter at the foundry.  A plating process is used to apply our bronze and brass finishes.

Twisted Smith Hardware stands behind the materials and workmanship of all its products with a lifetime warranty.

Our warranty on the finish is one year since climate, touch and environment will alter the finish over time.

About Pewter:  Pewter is a metal alloy consisting of a mix of tin and copper with antimony and/or bismuth.  Today’s pewter is lead free.  Our hardware is made with pewter which has a darker finish that will usually grow darker over long periods of time.  Climate, touch and environment will also affect the finish over time.

Cleaning Pewter: Pewter is maintenance free unless an occasional hand washing with mild soap and cloth is desired.  Never use an abrasive pad, steel wool or chemical cleaners or the finish will be permanently altered.

Wrought Pewter finish ships in 1-2 weeks.

Bronze/Brass finish ships in 3-6 weeks.
